Pavement poured in freezing temperature does not turn out too well, as it freezes before it has time to harden properly, so it ends up not being as solid, and gets damaged easier. Then again, this does not matter since the year after they'll dig it up to fix pipes anyway.

When they built the new walmart, they actually did the parking lot right in middle of winter. That summer when the ground unfroze, it was like a roller coaster. It just made this huge wave of hills. If you drove there with a low car the bottom would actually hit the ground as you went up the pavement then down into the valley, then back up the next hill. They could of turned the walmart parking lot into a drive in theater, since you could just park your car on an incline and get a good view of the screen.

If you want to go to a cheap amusement park, just drive Timmins roads, and obey all construction signs, since you'll find a lot.
