Nice, I'd try to find a sata controller though just because IDE cables are a pain to work with, specially with 4 drives. Makes me want to put RAID5 in my server. Or I can be brave and go raid 0. :D

Yeah--like you have to get some kind of card to expand over 2 hard drives anyway--right?

Some kind of pci drive expansion card or something?

Someone told me they are like $20. (us)

I wonder, if on a typical board, if you would elimanate the cd drives ; could you then run 2 more hard drives?

You could install from an external hard drive or use the 6 flopys :biglaugh:

With IDE you could have 4 drives with no CD-ROM drives. My server runs 3 Hard Drives and a CD-ROM drive but I could remove the CD-ROM to put another HDD, since the cd-rom does not reach anyway... cable is not long enough.
