Not the most glamorous job, but I get to work with some cool stuff, and it takes a bit of know-how to filter out the false alarms. And not a bad place to be if you want to sneak your way on to the admin team.

Well I am A+ certified, and I hold a handful of other certs that don't really mean anything, but not Microsoft or Cisco. I'd say it was a matter luck, training, a handful of experience, and a selective memorySO are you--like --Microsoft or Cisco certfied?
If not--how did you get that job?

If it's a position where they are getting tons of resumes you can be sure that before anyone even reads your resume, they are just going to do a search for a few keywords like "A+ Certified"
