i had two fans go out on my computer that caused trouble with heat.

they don't have the docking bay fans anymore at the repair shop he said
he has not seen them offered in order mag's for years.

so i bought a 5 inch fan cut a hole in the side of the computer and put the fan in

now the computer sounds like a vacume cleaner. i guess that is because i sealed
up the case and only get air being pulled in from the front.

but boy is it loud now. and the breeze it makes. i can feel it a full 2 feet away from the tower. and that is with the house's ceiling fan making a downward breeze too?

if not for that and the wall being 2 feet away i might feel it farther away from the tower?

passagers must fasten seat belts and place trays in upright postion until we have taken off. :stir the pot:

that kind of looks like something out of robot wars?

the fan i got is just the bigger case fan. but it is spinning to beat the band. i think it could be used in a flame thrower its moving the air good.

what's that ya say some ones got the enging running full throttle. sounds like a huge airplane out there. been like that for the last couple days. with the plane noise and the stereo up to over power the plane i can't hear a thing?

:P

That background is from Halo I think. :D'

My test server is like that. I walk near it and feel a vortex of air, and it's so loud too. Wish I had a server rack downstairs so I could put it in instead of my room.

I have 14 fans , including the little ones, & the drive fans on my PC. :biglaugh:

It's not too loud.

Why didn't you get one of those fans that discharge out of one of the slots in the back? :grade11math:

Also you could have got the kind that goes in a free drive slot.

Some even come with fan controlers , which you could get now, to slow the fan down.
