You want to stay away from hosts with all those silly limits, its just plain dumb that same do that. Most of the free ones have max file size limits too, that used to be a huge problem for me when I used free hosting way back in the day.

If you are serious about this and hope to get lot of people on the site, I would just find a host and pay 20/month or whatever... Will be cheaper since you're in the states. I pay 25 or so per month for Iceteks' hosting and I am far from reaching any limits. So you can probably find a host for 10/month that will give you like 10GB transfer, and half decent storage.

Need to do your research first though, lot of crappy pay hosts out there too.

Oh ya I forgot, you're in the #1 country, but still there are some rather cheap hosting out there, though most are in USD. And some half decent free ones too, though if you're paying you usually get way better support. (note: usually)

I'll figure it out this is something I really want to do and even if it does not work out it will still be pretty cool.
