Ok http://www.freewebs.com/mike-db is my current host anyways the site is all flash, and I plan o have it so that users can sign up and upload their own art downloads games and flash movies, I just need to get squirrelBBS working properly.

yup and this one is a keeper because for once I made it my self

server problems as in I cant login to the FTP.

Have you contacted your Web host? They should be able to help you with that.

There’s no PHP and MySQL support on FreeWebs, so you will certainly not get SquirrelBBS working. (You may want to post software requirements on the SquirrelBBS site, Red.)

EDIT: Did anyone else notice the FAQ’s “Get Firefox” link and attempt at clean HTML?

yeah my webhost is my dad hes about 100 miles away so its hard to contact him. pretty soon tho im gonna sstart up my own server.
edit: im switching over to www.xhost.ro really soon. As soon as the guy I know who can read romainian gets on.

this might be the one for sure not that sure yet tho I am constantly runing in to problems with it the PHP is screwing up majorly so I might go for a dif design with less flash and more HTML/java/PHP type of site.

OK so here's the Load down on mike-db.com its going to be a "Artistic" community so users can upload skins art flash games and movies and anything else that they think other people might put to good use. On the forums users will be able to share tutorials their art and anything else. Also users will get their own blog free users have a max of 600Kb uploading a month where as paying users or "premium" will have to pay a fee that only has to be payed once a year for 1G of uploads and a whole much more extras that will soon be revialed as soon as the site is working.

im still thinking im sure exactly how im going to set it up and it would be 600Kb a day, users who sign up and pay for the better account get more pirvilages... I never said that YOU had to pay.

600 kb's a day huh

no one in there right mind could be artistic with a 600 kb video file

maybe a single wallpaper or skin 600kb's but damn >< games,flash and video .. possibly some skins and wallpapers could never be done with 600kb's

and i agree with richard lol why pay for it cuz theres other sites out there to upload stuff for sharing free of course
