Where to find the killit software

Post by Anonymous »

Hi, I used to use this great software called killit and it had a nice gui. I've spent the last couple of hours searching for it and all I can find is the non-gui version. I've found questions about a gui and they don't seem to be answered. Yet there is an article on it at: http://www.iceteks.com/articles.php/killfiles/1

Anyone know where this can be downloaded? I've tried P2P and other places with no luck.

Thanks much!

Where to find the killit software

It's been discontinued, the GUI version was using MFC (which is just as bad as .NET if worse) and crashed in win2k and up but when those OSes came out I did not have the code to redo it and just never bothered so I made the non gui version. I dont even have any of these myself.

The concept of the program is very simple, a batch file will do, simply delete the file repeatedly in a loop. Instant the file is no longer in use it gets deleted.

This program Unlocker assistant

works real good. If a delete is denied this program pops open. If it cant unlock it you can tell it to delete the file on reboot.

FREE
