I have bought this computer:

And I'm planning on upgrading it a bit. I'm ordering more RAM from the seller (1 GIG) but I found cheap 250 GB SATA hard drives on ebay.
What's the difference between SATA and normal drives?
Would they be compatible with the computer I bought?
(I'm sure this came up in an exam at uni once ).

Unless there's a sata connector on the motherboard, you won't be able to plug it in, though I'm sure you can buy a PCI sata controler somewhere, there's most likely such thing as those, though I've never seen one.

Buying new computer
I know that I can get the pci card but I was asking if the computer supported it without getting a pci card.
I'll e-mail the seller.
Thanks anyway.
