On Sunday I had my first experience with...RoboTripping...It was great...So how many of you have robotripped? If you have what was your best experience with it?

Answer: “Robotripping” is the nickname for abuse of Robitussin® cough syrup or any cold and flu pills that contains dextromethorphan (which causes hallucinations similar to PCP). Many emergency rooms across the United States are reporting increased numbers of teens who are abusing over-the-counter (OTC) cold and cough preparations. Robitussin®, Coricidin HBP®, Vicks NyQuil® and Vicks Formula 44® are the most common cold drugs abused because they are legal, easy to get and inexpensive. Watch for the symptoms of abuse which include: sweating, high body temperature, dry mouth, blurred vision, hallucinations, delusions, nausea, stomach pains, vomiting, irregular heart beat, high blood pressure, numbness in toes and fingers, red face, headache, loss of consciousness.

i figgered it was drugs of some sort cuz of "Tripping" but i didnt think over the counter stuff

HAHA thats great....yes robotripping is using OTCs that have dxm as a chemical...it makes you hallucinate...ofcourse the first time you do it you wake up with a super hangover the next day...but only the first time

You cannot classify him as an addict.

And I do believe the source of addictions is not fear, emotional problems, blah blah blah. It's actually the addicting chemicals/ingredients in the substance that the person is addicted to. For instance, I'm a caffiene addict. I won't deny it, I rely on caffiene. It's the addictive caffiene that caused the addiction. The fact that you need more and more of something.

robotipping/drugs can also be from things like fear why?

cuz ya wanna fit in dont ya?

or mabey your alone all the time or depressed and a beer makes ya feel better

theres fear and loneliness for ya

then the chemicals etc start to take over

starts out as somthing like that and THEN turns into an addiction . tree is dead on ^^

and thats why its eazyer to quit somthing when your feeling great and want to quit but dont bother if your depressed or somthing lol

My point was:

1. He isn't an addict just because he tried it and liked it.

2. The actual addiction is not because you're sad or lonely or anything like that, that's just what SOMETIMES makes you START taking the substance. THEN the continue use/abuse of said substance makes you need more of it, causing an addiction. Only weak people get addicted.

I admit. I am weak. But my addiction isn't life-threatening.

While I'm going on about this, pot is NOT addicting unless you are very weak-willed. It is also NOT a gateway drug.

im addicted to cigarettes and coffee lol

and yes mood does effect this stuff

example would be when im at home bored i smoke a lil over half a pack and go through 4 to 10 cups of coffee a day

but if im doing somthing relaxing n fun like camping i can go with 6 smokes or less and coffee is not even needed ... like say a week of camping ..by day 7 i would be down to about that

2 months out camping n i could quit smoking and give up my coffee ..
not that i would want to give up my coffee

Is it that crap people make in the morning at home? That stuff is disgusting. Why torture yourself with that stuff for caffeine when you have STRONGER caffiene readily available to you through a nice COLD bottle of Bawls?

And this stuff actually TASTES good.

Or of course you could get something fancy and frozen from like, Starbucks or something. That is, if you have the money to do that everyday.

Yeah, only it's a bigger bottle, lower price((if you go to 7-11)), better taste, COOLER bottle((on top of everything else this is a plus)), and it gives you more energy.

Speaking of frozen drinks, Bawls has officially released SnoBAWLS, the frozen drink. It's not in my state yet, I think it's only in.... Texas?

Either way, I can't get it yet.
