Iceteks is the greatest

I have been with iceteks for awhile now and i have to say this is the best forum i have ever came to. Actually it is the only forum i come to anymore. I mean this is were i can express my feelings and not get bitched at for it. I don't think i will ever leave iceteks.

anyone prefer something over iceteks want to speak there mind cause i don't think it gets any better than this.

I would also like to thank Red for creating such a great forum, if there is anyone else involved in the creation of this forum please post i want to know who are my forum gods are.

Awesome compliments. I think that's the best we've heard in a long time, eh Red?
(Yes, in the beginning, there was myself and Red, running of one of my old PCs, hosted out of Red's basement on an ADSL Line... wow we've come a long way)

Seriously, though, it's not just myself and Red that the compliments go to. Without all of you (our users) we wouldn't be here today. So, with that in mind, I'd like to thank those that have stuck with us through thick and thin, and have always been there for others within our forum community. As a Moderator/Admin, I have to say "You guys rock"

to be true i see there is two of you and i just want to give thanks to. I have to say i am so greatful that i have you guys to be there for me. If it wasn't i would of never kept with the forum gig. You guys are really the best and i wouldn't be who i am with out am.

Most reguards to my (FRIENDS) Red and jryan. and if there is more people that have helped to make this site i want to know becuase it isn't a good of awarde untill i give it to the person that truly deserves it.

i agree with upload ... this is the only forum i use now and it is always the first page i see when i start mozilla

if you dont mind me asking ... what does jryan do around here?

no offence ment by the question ... its just i always see the squirrel doing things like upgrades and posting/admin but i never see jryan around much at all

well to be really fair now ryan.

you would have to say that with a few of the old members that were here. if they had their way you would not be here today?

but you and red blocked them from getting here anymore.
and if a few members in other forums still could they would take this down, but they are more bark then bite.

i too try to get here often. but i do go to other places.

i must spread my kindness and smart answers and smart alic answers around to my adouring public.

True. This is my homepage in Firefox. I'll often go to search for something online (Such as assignements I have to do for my course) and spend a good 10 minutes just reading posts. Then after that I try to remember what I was going to do 10 minutes earlier.

thats exactly what i do too

funny thing i do tho is middle click to open a new tab on "View New Posts"
then i use the old tab to do whatever so it must show me on the online list alot

i try to come here at least once a day but i usually have the site open if i am at my pc.

I try to come here alot, but I just am not as active as I was before. I regular like 5 forums, all of which seem sort of, not really active too me. Oh well. One seems to have died completely.

But yeah, I enjoy being here. Great place. Way more laid back than I'm use to.

Alright, I'll answer the question.

In the beginning, I was responsible for helping Red with infrastructure, I was alot more active with posting and at one time I was the only person other than Red that had Moderator abilities. I've also written an article for Iceteks that I'm currently in the process of re-writing to cover newer versions.

Lately, I've been behind the scenes alot. You'll see me mostly posting around Christmas, the new year or annually at Iceteks' Anniversary. Other than that, I offer suggestions to Red with regards to the site in general and I do a bit of moderating and posting here and there. Mainly I haven't had the freedom to be very involved as a result of work (I'm a Junior Software Developer with the Northern Centre for Advanced Technology) and I'm balancing school on top of that, so I've been real busy lol.

So, there you have it. That's what I do. I'm here pretty much every day, I just don't post often anymore.

there is never really a day that i don't make multiple post. My average post per day is still low because i didn't really start posting everyday untill a few months after i joined.
