Can anyone tell me where I can find a compact card reader for windows 98? Not windows 98SE. My flash card is a 64MB card and so far I have not been able to find a reader that will read it. Most of the readers are for 98Se and above. I want to be able to use this reader on an older computer that I keep at a cabin.

Hmmm good luck with that, not sure if win98 will even support that. I'd try to see if you can put SE on that machine.

You need win 98 SE at least because USB was first implemented on that OS. If you are using win 98, it will be very hard to find a flash reader mainly because you will have to find one with a serial connection, either that or install one of those internal floppy drives with the card reader (But I doubt the drivers for that would even be supported by win 98, nevertheless CREATED to operate on that OS). I would suggest upgrading to win 98 SE. You could probably get an upgrade or the full version off of a P2P program. Then you'll be able to install a USB PCI card into your system and you'll be able to support it.
