I know nothing of this topic guys so please excuse the ignorance. Is it possible to somehow hook into my home cable tv and watch it on my laptop wirelessly? Thanks.

I'm not too sure you can transmit cable signals wirelessly.... Can you? Where would you buy such a product?

Only way I can think of that it would work wirelessly is if you hook up a TV tuner to a desktop machine, play it in full screen and then VNC to it from the laptop. But that would maybe make it all choppy.
Something that would work better (and sound with go to your laptop) is to setup a windows 2003 terminal server so you just log in to it via wifi connection and open up the TV tuner program from there, a terminal session is basically like being at that PC, but more then one person can go in and have their own session. So someone could actually be using the PC while you do that.
