World's worse rip off...

This site will give away a full blown computer system for like 300 bucks, but then there's stuff like this:

Really, I find low capacity drives are expensive no matter where you go, I don't see why. Sure they don't make them anymore and all, but still.

I <3 TigerDirect, though. Infact everything I have boughten for my PC in the past year excluding my fan, a round hard drive cable, and my casing, was from TD.

Yeah, your right. I guess I cant really talk because I guess I have a "low capacity" drive. Thans for ragging on me red. Anyway I only saved 10 bucks by buying a 40 gig, but 3 months ago I was stupid!

Yeah but funny part is that site has awesome deals on 300GB drives and around that range. For like 100 bucks more you could get one, instead of a 20. LOL

Don't worry though, I just recently changed my 60GB drive for a 200GB one, then I started having my issues... so I did not take a chance and got a 120 instead, I store lot of stuff on my server anyway, which has a 300GB drive and a 100GB partition on the OS drive... that partition is like empty, only a few backups and that's about it.

Yeah I am thinking about a 120 Sata150 but I dont need it, I am only using like 75% of my primary, and then I have a 20 for movies and music. The 20 was free, pulled from an older machine.

I have a 14 GB and a 10GB.... All together I have 2GB free, MAX! I'm in DESPERATE need of HDD space. I SWEAR TigerDirect had a 300((or maybe a 200))GB HDD for 100 dollars or less. Awesomeness.

I could just fork out 910 dollars and get a 1TB external USB 2.0 HDD. Talk about awesomez0rz.

Yeah nice but don't get a usb drive as a drive you'll always use. USB is very slow compared to a true IDE interface. Though for archiving stuff you won't use that much, it would be great to have. It's probably still fast enough to capture video directly to it too. Really, mine is just a tad slower then transfering files over the network to my server, so it's not that slow. As long as you have usb 2.0.

Check out this deal: http://www.tigerdirect.ca/applications/Sea...p?EdpNo=1265028

And remember that's canadian dollars.

Woah ya. they have them, but they're scsi and you pay big bucks for those, and it's hard to get high capacity ones. Actually they go up to like 15Krpm. insane.

I have 2 spare hard drive both low capacity also from older machines 20.4 gig and 17.2 gig. Maybe if I build another computer I will put a 120 in there but for right now I am great with sapce 30 gigs left on my primary and 17 gigs free space on slave. I want to build like a small server just for network storage though, how would I do that? Like to make lets say a computer with Windows 2000 Pro on it just have all of its drives shareable. Or should I use a linux storage server? Oh yah and that 20.4 gig I have to test I pulled it out of a machine that kept getting BSOD so I dont know if it was the HD or not.
