what are the time and dates that can mess up the computer if that computer is not updated for y2k time and date errors
i know it is an old subject but the computer is messing up and i am not sure if it is the time and date error, or some user's error.
so i am in need of any known date errors for the computer of that age. just to make sure it is not user error.
thanks.

Ew. I would never use an upgrade. Just upgrade/replace the PC and slap in a win2k CD and you're set to go.

found the trouble to this problem of mine it was the monitor the crt was older then the desktop unit so it was worn out already.
had them switch with one of the other spare monitors that is just about as old but was not used for 4 years so it should get another 4 years of use for them then i think windows 95 will be done for.
as it will take them about 10 years to get 4 years of use from that computer.
