When I try to install The Sims 2 University or NFSU 2 my CPU starts to run at 100% as soon as the installation gets to the place where it must ask for the second disc. I see that the autorun.exe is using the CPU 100%. I've checked for viruses, spyware, adware, etc. All other games is working fine. PLEASE HELPPPP!!!!

CPU running at 100%
Deja Vu. Just came from GTAWH in a topic where someone was complaining about their Athlon 64-bit 3000+ going to 100%. They had 48 programs running using up 400 something MB out of 2GB of ram.
But, not sure what to tell you about this.

this sounds like either a memory leak in the game install.
or there is the fact that the dll files loaded by windows at boot up are still in the memory and causing trouble, and or you have 48 programs running.
in win98 there was resouces set in a chip on the mother board and it was small and not able to be adjusted.
in winXp it uses your ram sticks as the memory for resouces so the more you have running the less usable ram you have. so yo need more ram.
winXp takes 156 or something close to that just for it's self to use, if you only have 256 mb's of ram you short 500 mb's of ram. so get as much as your mother board can handle. i have 768 mb's of ram in this one but i could use more as it some times boggs a little for lack of ram.
find a ram clearing program that works in winXp if you have that os. if you have win98 or win2k or winMe you can go to analogx.com and get his maxmem program it works great in those os's but not so good in winxp
