Man, parents know how to ruin their own weekends and then wonder why they are always tired. Whats a piss off is they drag me into it while I'm trying to sit down and code. I keep my room and my own stuff clean/maintained durring the week so I can relax on weekends, they should learn to do the same.
Construction, painting, massive vacuuming sprees... and I mean massive, like 3 hours straight. They CREATE work for themselves by making a situation worse. My mom out of no where wanted to buy a gazibo, which we'll have to assemble, why? we'll only get to use it twice a year anyway. We've been putting off assembling it for months, because of weather. Either its too cold, or its raining. So we'll assemble it, only to dissassemble it when winter hits in 2 months.

I couldn't see you putting up a gazebo for some reason.
Hehe.

If you give someone a program, you will frustrate them for a day; if you teach them how to program, you will frustrate them for a lifetime.

Hehe. Well putting up a gazibo or ANYTHING summer related is totally pointless up here. It's up for max of 2 months, well it may be up longer since we'll wait last minute and probably take it down the same weekend we put the christmas lights up, and of course, we have to make sure the weather is at least below -30 to do that. Thats just how things work in this household. If you're gona do a chore, may as well make it harder then it should.
Can't wait to move out. Every time I'll see my paycheck I'll know its one step closer to moving out. Thankfully my parents don't make me pay rent at least. So I can save my money, so got to be thankful for that part even though they create unnessesary labour work instead.

Ha, it's the complete opposite here. The only "winter weather" we'll get in Georgia is in January and February (sometimes a couple weeks in March). Aside from those two months, it's always 70 degrees plus.
Hell, I haven't seen snow in at least 5 years.

Yeah its way hotter in the states well even south part of Canada like Toronto. The smog also brings the temp higher by a few degrees. Active global warming FTW.
Up here our winters are getting shorter though. Used to have our final staying snow fall by end of october, now even by end of december we only have a couple feet of snow. January used to be our coldest month, now its February.
