Installing a PCI card is hard!

... When you have a case like this. :o And as much as you would like to think - it does not come apart in any way - you have to screw it the way it is. I think the pci cards are actually pre-installed at the factory before the case is even formed. I had to install a network card in there a while back and man, it's insane. Had the PC here again to clean 45 viruses that they got due toa poker site, while using IE of course.

are you sure the top of the frame rail did not come off and let you slide the side off the frame?

if not that would be hard to really put the pci card in at the factory also because if that side is spot welded, then the spot welder would have toasted the card and anyother card put in the frame when they welded it. :bsod:

now now IE did not cause that many virus's and you do know that.

it was user error in not using any protection when online. or not updateing the programs they have.

:)

Actually it was IE, all he did was go to a single poker site. With firefox it would not have happened.
