ok ive got a problem with .avi files
the video seems to freeze/slow well the sound keeps going so after about 5 mins of watching everythings out of whack like watching badly dubbed chinese movies
think MXC on spike there lol everythings like that so there mouth is movin but you hear the words like 10 sec after there done talking?
i donno how to fix the problem like i use theater in kAzAa to watch em cuz if i use media player its even werse n im sure ive got all the codecs for it
any ideas of how this can be fixed so i dont have to back track my vid's to put it in order?
if it was only a few vid's i wouldnt of posted but it seems to be every avi file i have thats over 5 mins long
any help would be great ... laterz

you got a virus or worm or trojan that came in through kazah taking up your memory and or messing up your codecs's which is something that the movie producers were rumored to be putting out but your the first i seen with that type of trouble.
get new codecs after you run trendmicro's online scanner and see what is really messing up your system and how to get rid of it.
if it cant find it then your in for a lot of hunting to see what it is called and just what it is doing. being the first to find something is always a pain.
if you can not find anything then i will say you need to get your directx drivers up to date and reload your codecs because they might have bit rot.
also run the standard checks like regcleaners and scan disks if you can and clean out all the page files and swap files. and the temp file folders turn off restore reboot and then turn on restore and then reboot again that will get rid of any of the bad files that were backed up in the restore files.
other then the above i have no idea what might be causing it? hope you get it fixed.
