linux/ps2

Post by Triple6_wild »

sup

ok linux can be installed on my playstation 2 HDD and its sold in a "kit" for like 200$ but everything in the kit i have other then the software and thats supposed to be free right lol (n i think that stoped making the NTSC version so PAL will not work)

im not gonna pay 200 for an HDD,network adapter, keyboard and mouse since i already spent 200+ for all that and the new stuff will just collect dust

does anyone know another way to install it on my harddrive without buying the kit?

like can it be done by downloading it with my computer and hooking the HDD to the pc to transfer the files or somthin? or burn the software to CD-R? and where i can download it

unless someone in timmins has the kit and can let me borrow the install disc :biglaugh: i will need to find a cheaper way to do it

PS i know most iceteks members may not have an answer but hey mabey someone searching google will  just trying here first cuz theres always someone up n about to help :awesome:

laterz
