thanks glad you like it.

if the sound effects are sounding bad in the background which it might be when you compress a 720 mb wav in to an 8 mb wma file you might beable to convert it back in to a wav by using the cdex ripper program then you might hear the sound effects a lot better.

it would have been sounding lots better if angelfire would have let me upload the 12 mb wma file but they have an upload limit on their servers so if i cant get it loaded in less then 40 minutes it wont get uploaded and they don't allow resume to work on their ftp uploading.

so i had to squash the song to the 8 mb size and it almost did not go up then.

but once again i am glad you liked it :awesome: that took some doing to do what i did.

which was have 4 half hour wavs of sound effects going started 10 minutes or so apart so they over lapped enough you could not hear the one stop. have 15 to 30 different sound effects up that i could click on at any given time to play doing the 70 minute music playlist that was playing.

while at the same time having another wav edtior running to record it from the sound card.

what all that noise is in the back ground is the 4 half hours of sound effects and tv show themes playing some times you can hear them rather well in this wma file but they sound better in wav form.

just it is huge huge huge in wav form. :bsod:

Have you tied MP3? They're much smaler in size, but about the same quality as wave.

:o

I did try it in mp3 in ogg ,

go figure  the wma sounded better at that small of a size.?

but i did try to remake it in to a wav from the one you can download from online. and it did not sound any different so i guess all the backgound sounds are gone after that compression to 8 mbs from 720 mbs.

but it is still a good sound with that noise it sounds even stranger :bsod:

Yep when you compress sound you're removing quality, so you can't get it back. Same with pictures.

It's sort of like if you need to fit 1000 items in a pickup truck but you only have room for 100, so you have to get rid of the less important stuff for good.
