Not sure if it qualifies as the first snowfall because the snow did not stay on the ground, but today it snowed for the first time this year. Thought I'd make a useless post to share.

“Buttered toast always lands buttered side down; cats always land feet first; tie a piece of buttered toast onto the back of a cat and it can never hit the floor!”
I'd say that the first snowfall of the year HAS to stay on the roads for at least 5 minutes. Other than that, we at Timmins just call it "A really big frost"

SNOW! Already? I just can't imagine, it's still summer like weather here. I've never even seen a white Christmas, that would be nice, but after Christmas, I'm ready for spring.

It's typical here But I don't really count this as the official snow fall. Wait till you can't see any grass poping out then you know it's staying (usually). That's only by like the end of October usually.

Ya, especially the really BIG bubble wraps. I once had this fold out matress that had huge bubbles in it. It had to have been at least the side of 12 of those small bubbles. When you popped them, it sounded like a gunshot
