What's Your Favorite GBA Game?

Post by Fuzzy_Fox »

Since I don't have a good computer, or any of teh 128 bit systems. I'm stuck with my GBA, but I don't really care. It's portable, rechargeble batteries kick butt in it. The games aren't paticularily expensive. And I like the 2D stuff anyways :) , they're fun. I'll have to put up a list when I acctually look back at the games I like on it. I'm.....not near there. <_> .

You bumped down my topic, how could you?!!? . Anywho, since I'm already double posting...is there any way to edit our posts here?

Megaman Zero 1 and 2 are pretty fun. I ...sampled them on my computer <_> . And Nintendo can't say I'm ripping them off, because I'm buying #3 when it comes out ;) .

after a certain number of posts you get more priviliges such as editing. :D I think it's like 30 or something I forget what I set it to lol.

I often sample software on my computer. gota make sure it's worth the money, if it's not worth the money then I stick with the sample version. <_>

I've gotten all 8 endings on Metroid Zero Mission. That's pretty freakin hard :). And I beat it under an hour one time.

My best was an 1:20 while playing it on the bus.

Then I got a car, and never had a good reason to play the GBA again

Oh man, this is a no brainer. Super Mario Brother's advanced 4 is the best GBA game ever made. It's the original Super Mario Brother's 3 for the NES. Remember that one? That's a classic. Not only was it the best game ever made (In my opinion), it also made Nintendo ALOT of money. Now this game has the same stuff as the original, except improved graphics which makes it look 10 times nicer than the original. As well, if you can shell out enough cash for 2 GBA's and an Ereader, you can buy packs of cards which you scan in the device to get new powerups, demo cards and NEW LEVELS! Hehe.

Do they make link cable over wireless IP? Now that would be a cool way to stay in touch. :D Install msn messenger on a gameboy. :D haha that would be an awesome mod... but I can't see how it would be possible.

Acctually, the new Nintendo DS is going to have wireless, chatting, ...stuff. I'm not too much informed on it considering I'm a poor poor fox. I won't be able to buy one, unless I'm lucky, or feeling ...what's the word?.....spend ( :grade11math: ). I'm getting Megaman Zero 3 tomorow :) . So I'll have to play it through a reviewer's eyes for once.

Ya, the new DS will have everything. 2 screens, a touch screen with stylus, rechargable batteries, backlit screens, wireless capabilities and the possibility of communication across the Internet and to other gameboy DS's around the world (Or so I've heard). But ya, I wouldn't mind that. I'd pay 200$ for that, imagine how much cashola nintendo would make :o ! And, it's about time they made better games for nintendo. Come on out with more Mario, Zelda and final fantasy games. I don't have a gamecube already! :P

OMG, after all the anticipation and such, I bused over to the mall and it comes out on the 6th :banghead: . And of course, tomorow is the longest course day of the week. Looks like I might be late for supper. Or die of waiting for school to end :banghead: .

I might review it like IGN, if anybody's ever been there. It something like:

-Presentation
-Graphics
-Sound
-Gameplay
-Lasting Appeal

All out of 10.

The only handheld I'm going to get is either a Sony Clie or a Zodiac :P
If I can scrounge up the money, a zodiac.
(Both of them can use a gamepad and a GBA emulator :D)

Hehe, burn. I hate it when you go to get a game and the arrival date has changed. I waited for worms world party to come out april 23. I went to EB 5 times and they didn't have it. It ended out coming in the end of JUNE!

Gah! I got home at about...5:15 yesterday after getting MMZ3 ( :) ). But I missed supper, and had to have leftovers of something I didn't like to begin with  . And I had to let my brother play it ("since you're not going to be playing it right now anyways"-Mom). But now it's mine, MINE!!!!! ............ :)

*shudder* the future has a lot of that stuff. I think I remember hearing of a GameCube that has a built in thingy that the parents can set so that they only play a certain amount of time.

Are you coming to school today?

That's kind of horrid that parents can set time on how much times kids play games. I mean, if you're a really good parent, you should know enough about discipline to DO THAT YOURSELF. I mean, picture this. You're playing Zelda and have one last shot to beat Ganon then all of a sudden, the gamecube shuts down. WTF?! I mean, you're trying to PREVENT tantrums here :P. But then again, I agree with that. Children get brainwashed by excessive gameplay. I mean, when I was young, I was glued to the nintendo, but at least I had the sense to LEAVE THE GAME for a couple of days. Kids today have nothing better to do. I think they should really invent active gameplay. I mean, actually get the kids off the couch and play a game using their body. They had it for the original ninetendo (Fuzzy Fox knows what I'm talking about). Why not have it now? Improved graphics and technology can only make it BETTER than what it was 9 years ago. Hey, I wouldn't mind playing a gun game with my whole body. Makes it more fun, and easier to dodge. Mind you, I wouldn't want to get TOO into the game at risk of pulling a couple of muscles or crashing into the coffee table. I think that would resolve ALL the video game problems that people have. Most children are obese because they sit and play games all damn day. Now, if they excercised AND played at the same time, it would make the kids happy, the parents happy and it would make nintendo ALOT of money because parents would definately buy something to shut the kids up AND to get them into excercising as well :biglaugh:

oh ya, that would kick butt. Why people aren't making it, i don't know why :(. Nintendo used to have a game system that was virtual reality with everything in red, but it gave people headaches and it looks like they've stopped ever since (Which sucks)

lol they should of worked on it some more to make it "safer". virtual reality is truely a cool technology and we are capable of creating it, but I just don't know why it's not something big. I heard about this 3D video conference thing once, it made it seem like you were in the same room as everyone else that's actually miles away. Like that would be so cool, and my grade 12 math classs would of been that much more fun, if that technology existed. :D

Ya, I'll say. They really should come up with that. I mean, it would be the next best thing. Everyone would buy it of course. I mean, playing a game AND exercising? I say that's a win win situation.

*sigh* Sadly that's my brother who acts like he has nothing better to do. And he has a lot of toys. He really should get outside more, or something. As much as I hate to say it, I think it's a bad idea for me and him to get a GameCube for a combined Christmas present.
