Can anyone recommend a good php book that has tutorials and code description and meanings for beginnners please.
I have a parsar error i think it is on my site. When you click through each page on the main efiction section it brings up a page inbetween although it doesnt stay. This only occured when I was playing around in the templates putting in another table.
The error showing is
}} and a blank white page
it trips over very quickly to the next main page. U see it in a blink of an eye.
Havent a clue what this is, since I had not put it in.
I need to find out in the script where it is.
However, I am wanting to start learning php since I have now mastered basic html.
thanks Kate

PHP book for beginners
Hi and welcome to the forum!
I learned php from online resources that I search for, so I can't recomend any books, but as a start you may want to read our php related tutorials in the article section. It will get you started with the basic stuff which you can use for more complex stuff when you put it all together.
Maybe I can take a look at the site to see if I can help.

A great book I learned from was Wrox Publishing's Beginning PHP4. However, now that PHP5 is out, you would want an updated book.
Hope this helps!
