I've just started using FireFox and was wondering how can you get shockwave towork with it ive downloadand installed software but it still dont work

Here is some advice. (That page has a lot of information for other plug-ins too.)

Did you use the Firefox installer? If not, you will have to add something to the registry to get Shockwave to recognise Firefox.

I had no trouble installing Shockwave myself, I suppose since I used the installer version of firefox. However I do notice that sometimes I run into websites that don't recognize shockwave in firefox, and pop up an error message, despite the fact that it is installed and works perfectly elsewhere.

which is why i stay with ie i want most the sites to work on my computer,

I just stick Shockwave in the right folder, and works for me 100% percent of the time :huh:
