The Stall Ball

A donation item that comes in the form of some type of ball that can allow players to stable and claim pets.

Could be account/player bonded.

Maybe like a 15-20 dollar item.

Hmm that would be neat. perhaps a stable stone that you lock down. Could make it public or private.

Making it a portable item to carry around might give too much power to tamers to stable and call pets at will. Having it as a lockdown for homes or whatever isn't a bad idea though.

Would be a lock down though, not portable. And you'd have to be in your own house to use it, most likely.

Or just give it some sort of limited usage. Something like 1-3 uses per week that don't roll over. So if you don't use it one week, you don't get 6 for the next week, it just stays at 3 uses. That would leave it as something that would only be used in dire situations.

I don't think it should be portable imo. That's an excuse to camp any spot. The lockdown thing would be a better idea. Like lock it down in your house and have your own little stable (Maybe turn it into a stablemaster deed?

I'd probably call it a stable stone or something. Make it same itemID as a guild stone, or pet rez stone, or maybe I can find something else of that nature.

You know what would be cool? If it was a house type of thing. But built to look like a stable, about the size of a 7x7 plot, that you could place somewhere, but can't destroy it. Once its plotted, it stays there. And whoever stables pets there, the money goes to YOUR bank account. So you could put it right outside destard or despise or something. But in order to place the house, you have to have GM Animal Herding or whatever it is lol. Gives that useless skill a use.

Hmmmmm ya that's kind of an interesting idea. You have to be a gm herder to place the plot. Think it would need to be a 1 per account thing though so there's not 500 of them around. I kinda like that idea.

Hmm I like that idea for sure, code wise not sure how hard it would be, but something to check into. I'd still make it use the house system to limit the number of plots through that system, but you could still design it like a stable and such or integrate it in a bigger house.

Make it look like a small blessed harness. That way it looks cool and if it takes away the need for a pet ball of sum so what it would mean more income for the server.

I've actually had thoughts of selling artys, but think that would maybe be unfair. someone willing to spend irl money would get an advantage over others. Theres a couple artys but they're lower end, and more or less deco/rare type items. some are decent, but they don't replace common artys.

Theres a brazilian server called Illusions that does that. But unlike a nomrla player would think, its actually beneficial to the economy of that shard. Since people can still get ToTs and such.
