My acrylic case

I finally got my new 450Watt PSU today along with 3 blue led fans so I finally took advantage of my christmas present and put my mobo and stuff into my new case. Had some problems on the way, but managed them. Some problems include the floppy drive not fitting in the enclosure (extenxion screws a bit too long) and the motherboard holes in the metal panel not matching up with the mobo... but anyways, here is the result and it's a beauty. What sucks is if I decide to get a dvd drive or whatever, I need to remove the motherboard so I can take off the side panel to screw it in!

Also, my camera sucks at taking pictures in the dark, and I don't have a tripod which does not help so pics may not apear as nice as it really should.

looks real cool. it would be cool to see some cable wrapping, with some colors that show up on the fan led colors. As it is now, looks great, but making the wires dissapear would rock even more.

Yeah it could be cool. I can get some wire wrap that's like tubing, from my supplier but I don't think I'll bother right now, but maybe next time I need to order something from there.

I thought there was something wrong with my network card since the leds were yellow instead of green, but then I noticed the hub is the same thing, and also the light on the mobo. The blue makes a optical illusion with the green colored leds.

Sort of a color mixture.

I took some more pictures. Was playing with the camera settings such as the shutter speed. I really need a tripod. using books and stuff is not the greatest

You have to completly put it together. It's easy, but it took me about an hour since I was being very careful. You also can't use your bare hands to touch it or you get marks, so I had to use the provided gloves. The number of screws is overwelming when you first open it, but it's not that bad.

The throuble is installing the components. had lot of trouble with the floppy drive and motherboard. I had to cut my own holes for the sound jacks.

That looks badass. There is so much more crap at the back though. You should get more harddrives and learn linux that way

I don't want to bother with linux until I can build a seperate computer. Much easier to test/use it that way. Also, I need to rebuild the computer just to add a drive so there's no way I'm adding another drive, not to mention I can't afford one now.

The panel that the mobo is on is the same panel you need removed in order to screw the right side screws for the drive.

They really did not think of that when designing the case.

Since my case and wires have changed allot, here are some more pics.

this is a recent pic when I installed a switch on the side of the case to control the two side fans. Lot of tools were used for this simple job:

- drill
- dremel
- solder
- hammer (J/K)

I have two switches, one on the side that I just put, which controls the two side fans, and another that controls the top, front intake and back exhaust, and this is how much of a difference they do!
