your in need of information on how to couple a ide hard drive with a serial ide hard drive..

the last place i remember hearing about this was at

http://www.techtv.com/thescreensavers

you can go there and check their archives for old stories.

you can also try

http://thebroken.org

that is kevin's site kevin is the screensavers dark tipper he is good at finding ways to do things that are not to be done. you might sign in there and ask them.

maybe red will get an article on it some time?

until then i would check those places out. and if some one tells you to go to yoshie's site ask them for the url. that person is the computer modifier for the screensavers he might be of help also..

good luck B)

Hmm sounds like either SCSI or fibre chanel or something... never played with those since I can't afford it, but you probably need a controller card for that particular type (try and find out or maybe give us a description of pins etc on the plug). I have an article on installing a second hard drive but it's only IDE interface.

my school? No not at all. I don't even think you can buy a SCSI drive here... I never saw one at all. Not to mention seeing one at school. Our school has so many computer problems it's not funny!

The most advance thing they teach at my school is video editing and stuff. We don't do stuff such as open up computers learn about new type of hardware etc..

if thats the case red then your school sounds right for the techtv channels monthy cable in the classroom shows they do.

not sure when but they do a cable in the classroom show for call for help it is done doing the first half hour of one of the normal afternoon shows they then just replay it some time near the end of the month early in the morning with out commericals so the teachers can tape it and take it in to the school to use for that month.

i am not sure but i think they do the same thing with the screensavers show.

how ever there is not really a way to get the show in canada on cable.?? to get it in canada it involes a little team work in :pirateship2:

well not really in that but it is kind of tricky with the canada laws and rules? but there are a lot of viewers in canada doing something along the lines of :warezrulez: not sure just how they are doing it but it involes satilite tv. so if you can find someone doing that in your area get them to tape the cable in the classroom show for you. your class will get a kick out of them i believe.

you can find out more about it on call for helps web site.. :awesome:

Our school would be the last one they would do something like that. If they would come to Canada it would probably be a bigger school with like thousands of students in Toronto or something. My school is less then 200. :biglaugh:

This went off topic fast.

B) but red it does not matter how many students 1 to 1 million in the school the cable in the classroom shows are for all. and they are all done by most channels like the discovery channels the history channels the techtv, the weather channel, every major learning channel has either a half hour show or an hour show they make for use in the schools classrooms, by any school, and are all free. B)
