Actually the bot's posting change percentage is like 1/25 if I remember well so it will only post once in a while and it does not answer to words such as it's name anymore. It only posts in OT areas too. I was getting scared it might take over the world or something so had to slow it down a bit. :D

Had to call a business today about a new tv we bought. I had to talk to a computer before I could get to a real person. :o Ticked me right off! :no no no: When I finally got to a live person, his accent was so strong I couldn't understand him, then we got cut off! :banghead: 20 minutes on the phone for nothing. Never bothered to call back either! BTW, the computer never did get my address right and said, "let's move on", I thought, please do!

hahaha I hate those automated things.

I often get calls from sears, and it sounds like a robot:

Please hold for an important message from *pause* Sears Canada *pause/change of tone* Timmins calling. You have a package ready to be picked up at *pause/change of tone* Timmins. The package will be held for *pause/change of tone* 9 days. For this message in french, press 1 now."

I laugh my head off every time. The end makes me laugh. "for this message in french press 1 now". what if I don't understand English?

When I worked for the local telco we had to call the hydro company to report a power outage at a remote site, and we got this crazy automated voice thing to go through, but instead of pressing numbers, we had to SAY it. Sometimes it did not reconize the voice and said "sorry, we did not understand what you said. Please say yes, or, no."

Some questions were like "if this is a life threatning injury, say yes now"
:roflmao2:

YES!

"sorry, we did not understand your request, please say yes, or, no"

YES! Someone is being electrocuted at this very moment!

"sorry, please say yes, or, no"

:roflmao2: :roflmao2:

That's what it kept saying, can't understand you! Then giving me a choice on answer words. All that, after going through several menus.

Yeah it's crazy sometimes all the menus and stuff. Getting tech support of anything is a pain especially! Actually, my isp is not too bad for that, there's only one menu and it's simple, it asks a few question and I enter the right number for tech support and get a human if they are not busy.
