Yeah that would be good. In your following article you can always link to your last one and from the last one link to the newest etc... sort of like a "last" and "next" button at the end. That would be good. :)

Yeah, i plan on using what I have and just making it a whole lot more general... and if kids/adults read it/enjoy it, I shall continue with it.

Hey thanks Fishy Fool. I already know that my first linux article is very unclear, and if I wanted to know about it, that one wouldn't get the job done, so I am re-writing it, and making it voluminous in information but also really simple.

Can you convert it to pdf after I get the revised one done?

I just thought I was hearing bad things about open office, but then I realized that is was MS office... hahah, security expliots for word processing and spreadsheets.

I hear open office can connect to MS exchange servers now, big gain for linux.

I think that's funny too. Just the thought of a word processing program being a security risk. :roflmao2: :roflmao2:

what's next? Solitaire?!?!?! Hmm, I bet ms heart network has some bad security exploits. What do you tell the guy at the computer shop?

"I was playing cards with my friends over the internet, and suddently my hard drive started making funny noises and now I can't turn on my computer!"

MS is mad at you!!! :D

It's good, but I think it would be worth including "article 2" in it and instead you can just say to read the next page. I just have a feeling most poeple will want to know more after reading that since it's mostly like an introduction.

But it's very good and I can post it as it is if you want. Just let me know first.

yeah, tonight I will have the second part done, Ill change that to say go on to next page. The 2nd part will be about distrobutions and finding the right distro for you, along with some more knowledge about linux.

I think this is going to be cool and help bring some new people here.

Hey, can I post the articles on my site, and you link to it like on your main page so I can get some hits?

Yeah I could do that instead of having it in my articles, but I think the article itself will have more hits if it's with Iceteks articles, and you can put a link to your site at the end when you put your name or whatever.

Just let me know when you want it officially released and I'll go for it. I'll probably wait till like the 20 or whatever just to make sure we have enough bandwidth to make it through the month but still give enough time for hits to die down before a new month starts. When I make 28 thousand dollars per month and have enough for a T3 line, remind me to offer UNLIMITED web hosting. ;) :D
