what is the better program
black ice defender or zonealarm
just want to know what you think is the better of the two.

i have both programs
right now i`m using zonealarm

I use tiny personal firewall, works great.

Once I have the money I'll want to use Red hat on a seperate machine acting as router. But before I even build that machine I'll build another for local server. :biglaugh:

The best firewall is in fact a router as it blocks all incoming traffic, unless there's port forwarding which you sometimes need to configure with certain p2p programs.

I assume it would work, place it between the ethernet cable and the ethernet jack, and it will filter "traffic", avoiding viruses such as w32.aids.vbs. :roflmao2:
