I really hope this was a joke, but the compaq website has a legitimate page in their support library describing the location of the 'any key'

Compaq FAQ: Where do I find the "Any" key on my keyboard? (FAQ2859)
The term "any key" does not refer to a particular key on the keyboard. It simply means to strike any one of the keys on your keyboard or handheld screen.

I think it's true! I heard something about compaq having to change a message in a program because of so many calls coming through about that!!! All Homers!
