IceTeks Stats

Hey Everyone,

I was just surfing around the AdminCP and I found the stats on Topic Views for the past three months and they're quite interesting. Unfortunately, I don't have stats for most viewed topic, but I may be able to work on that in the future. I also have stats for member with the most posts, New Registrations, New Topics, Private Message traffic ect. Anyway, shout out, let yourselves be heard and let me know whether you want this to be a continuing thing around here.

Not really... I don't care for that sort of thing.

You can see all those stats? I didn't know it kept track of all that.

You don't have the power to be like Big Brother, do you?

No, I don't have the power to be like Big Brother, but I have most of the same power as Red, with the exception of editing content on the site.

Could be interesting to see some anonymous statistics, like most popular topics of the month, or biggest posters. It's all stuff anyone could figure out by surfing the board a bit anyway. Heh, some boards I've been at have based little contests around stuff liek that. Though some of those tookit a little to seriously too [post whores].

I saw that section before but I forgot about it. When we had 1 post per day, I did not really care to see the stats

yeah it was kinda crazy I mean there were people with post counts beyond the 10k range, and that board had been through it's share of resets. It kinda got very crazy, and just a little bit stupid. That's why I really don't hit that board anymore

Yep this is a good idea. We could do this like once a week or something and have a seperate thread for it. Some of the stats can't be displayed on one page, so it would probably be easier to attach it as html. We could do something like I do with the UD stats and have a post every week.

You wouldn't want to see Red's posting stats every week, Mandaren.

As for Red's comment about the stats not appearing all on one page, Red that depends on what stats you're choosing and how in detail you go with them. I posted three months worth of stats in one image, just didn't go in to an elaborate detail with them.
