I'm back!

I had this dream last night that I came back and there was this nasty SQL error throughout the whole site, even the home page. Then I woke up and I could not wait to get here.

It does not help to watch scarry movies before going to bed. Computer-related nightmares are the worse. Especially the ones that involve data loss.

I'm going again tomorow (actually, it's past midnight, so technically, today) for the week end so I'll see you guys after then.

Josh, try to check once in a while for SQL errors and use the repair feature in the admin CP. If anything disapears such as an entire forum, no body panic, I can restore it once I get back. Just post in the spam arcade or something and I'll move the posts after if they belong in the disapeared forum. The cool hangout place is usually the one that disapears when there's an error.

It's when the ib_forums table get's hit where this happends.

I'm back. Whohoo, no IceTeks porn redirects, no "database not found".

I had a dream we got hacked into and it it was full of porn meta redirects. Man it's the second time I dream something like that. To think that I'll have to go away for a whole week to some summer camp, which usually goes by slow. It will be long.

I did hear the optomize does help alot. We still need to get to the bottom of this sql problem though, the server is to blame (especially when both A/F and us get hit at once!)

How do you know? Something could have happened while you were gone but magically corrected itself before you returned...

The admin cp is gone.

No scada alarms whatsoever though so no body tried to get in that way, but there's no way of tracking ftp access so that could be a possibility. This is weird.... Time to change my password I think.

And why would someone hack into a site and delete that admin cp out of all things? This is weird.

This ain't right... still a blank page. And now the quick reply is acting like the one at bitbender, the arrow keys don't work on it. methings it's time to contact my host to see if they track ftp access. The logs should be empty as I'm the only person with access, so if there's any other access, they are crossing private property.

Hmmm, even the 404 is a blank page now. I deleted it completely and now I get 404 as title but nothing else shows up. I wonder who did this.

Hmm, the 404 works fine if I try it somewhere else, but as soon as I use the admin cp it's a blank page for the 404. I'll reupload it and see what happends...

hmm it started working fine now. I guess it was just a glitch. Thank goodness since I had no traces whatsoever of any intrusive activity. This would of been quite of a stealth attack. But that opens an eye as I should look into ftp logging, I'll talk to my host about it.

Hey everyone! How was everyone?

I had fun, but I badly hurt my wrist the first day durring the first activity but it was a great reason to say "I can't play sports" so it turned out good. I went to the emergency and it was not broken just badly swolen and I still can't bend it completly but I can still climb ok or carry things with it, I just cand push on it (ex: pushing myself up when I'm sitting, doing push ups etc).

Was there any problems while I was gone how did everything go without me here? I see there was some activity, I'm going to check it out afterwards I don't know what to do first lol. Got many emails to respond to as well.
