CAD as in computer architectual design? I have AutoCAD 2K, but I hardly use it. I use it mostly for rendering art and stuff, but I also use it for when I need to design something (like when I wanted to see if my desk would fit in my room). Quite a powerful program.
I made a pentium 3 cry for mercy by trying to render the World Trade Center. I had submitted a design, but I was far from winning.

Cool.
Do you have lot of experience in 3d Studio? I have it but I just got frustrated because the animation does not work well. If I make something move a certain direction, then make a sharp turn, it messes up everything and tries to make it a round turn. I just got houdini but I can't even figure out how to make it not crash. I clicked something and the whole window would just move up and stuff it was all weird.

Speaking of crashes, Red, did you check to make sure the software you're trying to use runs under Windows 2000 Pro?

No, that's probably the main reason it goes all wacko. But given this is a "multi-million dollar" enterprise program, it should be pretty compatible. But that's a good point as it could be the case.jryan wrote: Speaking of crashes, Red, did you check to make sure the software you're trying to use runs under Windows 2000 Pro?
