It's not down, I figured it would be because of the FBI but it's not down!

That's kind of cool that I found it since they've been talking about it all over the news. (well online news anyway)

They are basing the attack on this time zone and it should start at around 9:00am.

That actually sounds like fun, but since it's illegal and that you get get a serious penalty, I won't bother with it.

Defacing points
The systems OS windows will have pontuation = 1 ,
The systems linux, unix, and * bsd will have pontuation = 2 ,
Systems AIX will have pontuation = 3 ,
The systems Hp-ux and Macintosh will have maximum pontuation of 5 points.

And here's the cheap prize:

I remember reading that the fbi was surprised about the prize being so measly since hackers can own entire networks.

Yeah I read that too. It is weird though. I have 10 gigs on this host (or I think it's 5) and It's legal. If I was getting a prize for breaking the law and risking a horrible life, I'd one something much better, such as an OC192 free for a whole year (that's a 12 million dollar value! Abselutly free!) or something.

I think it was sort of real (I mean, out of all the media, I happened to find their site

) but it just did not "work out". I think they sort of cancelled it because of all the attention they got.

I also think it might of been a joke to see how many people will actually participate and get caught. All you have to do to participate is hack 6000 sites and submit it on their form. (ok, I just made this sound like it was super easy to do

)

But I'm also thinking, maybe it's planed for later.

Oh, looks like some sites did get defaced....

It seems it was mostly security-related sites that got hacked. I'll keep adding as I find more.
