can't say I'm not surprised either.. it's talking about the adware version. I would assume the pay version has no such spyware.

but yeah, screw opera, mozilla is the best out there.

lol!

Yeah I used Opera for a while, but when they started using 5MB flash ads that would take up all the system resources and make all the GIFs really slow, and the fact that it always locked up every 15 minutes for about 20 seconds - I just could not stand it, so I switched to mozilla!

I froze on me a lot, too! I didn't find Opera to be fast like everyone says.... As a matter of fact, Mozilla is faster since it doesn't freeze up!

Tabbed browsing is easier with Mozilla, too! The best part: NO ADS! :roflmao2:

Mozilla is going to change after 1.4...... It is supposed to be smaller and faster... They are going to use Phoenix as the base... I hope everything goes well, or I may just stay with 1.4!

Phoenix is based on Mozilla code anyway, so I don't see a big change happening... B)

I used to use an IE frontend called slimbrowser. It was pretty fast since it used the IE engine, and since kinda like the way it handles tabbed browsing better than mozilla, but what really made me make the switch was the fact that I was using mozilla for my mail anyway, and the way slimbrowser handled pop-ups got seriously annoying at times, and missed alot more pop-ups than mozilla does. I must say that mozilla has some of the best pop-up blocking I've ever seen - actually I haven't seen a single pop-up ad since I switched. while at the same time it does a good job of not blockign pop-up windows generated from page links - the ones I actualy want to see.

Yes, Mozilla's pop-up protection is top-notch. It doesn't block the ones that you want (The ones that are a result of a mouse click), so that is ever better!

I must admit that Opera has a pop-up blocker that is just as good.... :o :( :banghead:
