I think they are doing a good job, with the policies in the hostpitals, the people being quarentined etc. It might not be the most pleasant thing, but it seems pretty effective to conrol it.

Yes, I think they are.
I have heard that deadlier strains have developed....
I would still take that trip to Hong Kong!

Do you think Hong Kong is doing a good job? I am not sure if you are including them in with "China"..... You know, with that whole 1997 thing and all....

Technically, Hong Kong is part of China. Until 1997, it was a British territory. It was given back to the Chinese.... Hong Kong is not communist and the people live an American-type life. China has promised not to mess with Hong Kong's way of life for 50 years after 1997.... After that time, I wouldn't want to live in Hong Kong.....rovingcowboy wrote: hong kong is in china??

I know that because Hong Kong is a place I want to live at....
As for Taiwan, China claims it but really has no power over it.
I think Hong Kong is beautiful....

I think they will end up stoping it completly though.
According to something I heard (I have a hard time believing that though) more people die from the Flu then SARS. But, how can you die from a cold? Just take some tylonal, shut up, and go to bed. Actually, Flu is still a pretty serious cold. But it's still not comparable to SARS, Anthrax, or even Cancer.

If you have a really weak immune system, you can die from it. There are no cures for viruses. It is up to your own immune system to fight it.But, how can you die from a cold?

Actually, that is true... the symptoms of a cold are the body fighting the virus, so if the body can't fight it...takahita_tsukino wrote:If you have a really weak immune system, you can die from it.
