Red, I'll be able to join as soon as I get this DSL setup. Earthlink said it might be a week before my phone line is activated. I have no way of knowing it is ready to use, so I haven't run the software yet. I've already hit a snag, the phone in the living room won't work with the filter, had to remove it. Don't know how that will affect things.

You don't need to have an always-on connection for it, but it does help, so since you're getting it soon you might as well wait till then.
It only needs to access the internet to download a WU and upload one (maybe twice a day with my fast computer, 0.9 times a day with the older one). A WU stands for Work Unit. Basicly a molecule it works on and tries to find a match for certain things... scientific stuff.

It's for a good cause. My Mother was in a hospice in December. Most of the patients there were terminally ill cancer patients. That was an experience I will never forget.

Yeah it is for a good cause. Every little bit helps, since cancer is everywhere now a days and killing so many.
