I tell you guys... girls are the friggen DEVIL.
I get a text message from Tara... "Hey, I'm kinda stuck in Hamilton... can you help me get home at all?" (about a half hour drive)
After numerous suggestions...
1. Call your mom, tell her I'm coming over to get your car to pick you up.
- "Um... I don't want to wake her up."
2. Just take a cab to my house (About 60-75 bucks.) I'll pay for it, and consider it a partial birthday present.
- "No! Thats too expensive, I don't want you to pay for that!"
3. Alright, then I'll take a cab there, and just pay for a room at a motel for the two of us for the night, and we'll call your mom in the morning.
- "Justin, thats just too much money."
etc.
I offer because I WANT to do it. I don't care about cost, or time spent. I told her to call me when she gets into town, so I can scream at the fuckers who wouldn't bring her home 2 hours ago. My car is broken, for arguments sake.
This all started at maybe... 2am. Its been 2 hours and 30 minutes, and the people she's with still refuse to bring her home, because they want to stay the night in Hamilton, when she doesn't.
Why can't she just say "Take me home you fuckers! You drove me here, so now drive me home!!!!" I'm tellin' ya... if it wasn't for guys like me, all women would be lost.

Why is it that some women want you to grab them by the vagina and lead them around throughout their whole life? You gave her 3 good options, what did she want you to do? It sounds like she expected you to put on your shiny coat of armor and ride a majestic steed over to her rescue.
I guess this is why I am single. If she wasn't going for the three options you gave her, I would suggest that she STFU and go have fun with her friends. Option #4 would be for her to get on her walking shoes and maybe she would make it home by this afternoon.
