What do you get to do in the UK at 18? Drink? Smoke weed? Watch R-Rated movies?

yeah, its 21 here for the drinking age. But if you could compare my alcohol consumption from 16-21 against how much I consumed for the 5 years after I turned 21, they would be about the same. Its not like the drinking age stops most people if they are underage.

The drinking age in the USA is just a suggestion. Hell, I'm 19 and have been drinking for like 2 years, not heavily but some here and there.

I've drinked a few coolers here and there but nothing more. I don't really drink. You do not know how fun a high school grad party is when everyone is getting hammered and you're on your 12th can of pepsi.

College grad will probably be the same. In a few weeks!

Yeah I remember once two of my friends were both puking in the laundry tub, it was the most hilarious thing to watch. all I see is both of them back to me, and both wailing out at the same time. This was maybe an hour after we ordered poutine. I go up to them and look at the sink and I'm all "dude, if you're going to drink like that, at least take a regular poutine, not a quebec style!" (regular is less chunky in terms of cheese :P)

I actually ended up puking myself that night due to too much pepsi and not enough food to absorb it all, since all I had for the whole party was a bit of chips, we had ate a huge supper. Those sink visions also did not help.

Ya that is fun, but it's a hell of a lot funner when you're both drunk and having a conversation. Everything is 10x more entertaining from talking to the bartender to walking into the house and sitting down on the chair. Bonus points if you fire up a console when you aren't sober (Beware of the wii and wario ware smooth moves or you might possibly lose a table leg or a very nice piece of china).
