Building them from scratch and then
having some problem that I can resolve
on my own. XP is not to interesting to
install everything is on the Disc already
doesn't even need a boot disc with cd rom
drivers as with win98. I also like to tweak
the OS to run only what I need to run.
Only thing running in my taskbar is the speaker
and Time.

lol that is true. I'm so glad Microsoft does not make cars! Microsoft, security, crash test... ouch, they would not make it anyway. :D

You can learn just about anything with a pc. Find better prices online, chat with people from anywhere.

preciousaustin, you are right about pcs being like cars, I'm always telling my friends that you can't just start it and run, you also have to keep up the maintainance!

I couldn't say as much why I like computers in few words. I can stay in contact, stay informed, work, play, learn, discover, create, destroy, organize, collect, archive, customize, experiment, connect, drop out, chill out and watch a vid, ramp up and play a game, check out new games and apps, revisit old ones... there is no one definitive reason.
