Around 7:00pm ET the datacentre for this website as well as the poller is experiencing some fibre link issues and highly degraded network performance. It is being looked into.
This may cause faulty stats.
It appears to be better now though.

There is still a fibre bundle being worked on as it appears to have been chewed by rodents (not me!) but traffic seems fine now so I'll consider this incident solved.
