Hi again...
Would it be possible to either get an up to date database going or at the very least maybe a question and answer thread, just for content related questions and then specific answers for this server
Trouble is for ex OSI newbies like myself i dont know what stuff is available on this server compared to UO productions servers.....
Simple things like:
Have MIB's been added to the loot in treasure map chests?
I read that on UO servers they are there......
What creatures are tamable, and are any being added in the future...AW etc....Greater Dragon? (not quite sure what he is or where he is, if anywhere)
What is the formula used for enhancing gear?
Will it be updated or is it ok as it is (for balance )
I have loads of other questions, but i dont want to flood the place with them....
Either a forum for all the content or a faq type thing would be great....

there was a FAQ and new player answer database, however it has became outdated since it was written. The admins will hopefully rewrite it after all of the changes have been made. In the meantime, your best bet is probably to ask the questions and hope someone has an answer for you.
And, some things probably won't be answered by the admins. Things such as roulette %s are better left unknown.
Here are a few things I have picked up from trial and error over the years.
The formula for enhancing gear is that it will break. Unless it was a crap item to begin with.
If you get a valy hammer or barbed kit, then 14 out of 15 items you craft will have 100% lower req, nightsight, and/or self repair on them.
Any ore you WANT to mine will not be out there, but ore that you have an abundance of will not only be in overabundance, it will also spawn ore elementals in that color.
The best pets are Cus or Raptalons. Jackals are better if you have a pack. Any new pet that spawns will be stupidly overpowered until someone uses it in pvp, then it is nerfed.
As for most new things, watch what other people are doing and using. Then try it for yourself. This server is not that much different from OSI, it is actually easier in a lot of ways. The same character builds work well, both regarding to pvp or pvm. However, this server actually makes it easier to try out different configurations.

Is it possible?
Awhile back, we introduced a forum topic to address player questions as we received them. I would periodically scrape the forums and grab some of the questions that had not been addressed. Over time while we worked to release the new shard core and update the shard, this was temporarily forgotten.
Eventually, what I would personally like to do is add an in game system where players can ask questions that will periodically get answers added to a database of questions, which can then be viewed at anytime in game and possibly on the forums.
For the time being, we will do our best to answer your questions and will post the responses here:
