Bosses (and reward list)

You will always receive one of the following drops from killing the boss, provided you have done enough damage to get loot rights. Lists are organized in order of most common to most rare.

Ethel the Deranged Witch

- Black Toadstools, Green Toadstools or Red Toadstools
- Halloween Green Dye (5 Charges)
- Black Cat Statuette, Halloween Ghoul Statuette or Platinum Token
- Conjurer's Grimoire (Spellbook: Undead Slayer, Magery +15, INT 8, SDI 15, LMC 10)

Pumpkin King

- Black Toadstools, Green Toadstools or Red Toadstools
- Halloween Orange Dye (5 Charges)
- Carved Pumpkin or Platinum Token
- Conjurer's Trinket (Talisman: Undead Slayer, STR 1, HPR 2, HCI 10, DI 20)

Herpekitus the Plant Monster

- Black Toadstools, Green Toadstools or Red Toadstools
- Halloween Red Dye (5 Charges)
- Dark Tree or Platinum Token
- Conjurer's Garb (Robe: MR2, Luck 140, DCI 5)

Sorceress of the Night

- Black Toadstools, Green Toadstools or Red Toadstools
- Halloween Purple Dye (5 Charges)
- Ruined Tapestry, Pumpkin Scarecrow or Platinum Token
- Conjurer's Sandals (Sandals: MR2, Luck 140, DCI 5)

Malevolent the Reaper
- Black Toadstools, Green Toadstools or Red Toadstools
- Halloween Black Dye (5 Charges)
- Grim Warning, Skulls on a Pike or Platinum Token
- Conjurer's Sash

The portal is now opened to a strange land and village known as Wormwood. Here you will find a unique world with strange creatures and witches ready to give you quests.

You will need 7.0.18.0 (Patch 95) to play in the Halloween area.

The Halloween event area's pace will follow a storyline that will last a few weeks. During this time, more witches and quest givers will appear in the Wormwood.

As the days progress, more content will be periodically added to the new land so keep your eyes opened for what has changed and which areas you can access (Not everything will be available right away).

Because of the large amount of content to be released during this event, report any bugs or issues you may have as fixes and scaling may be necessary.

We hope you all enjoy this year's Halloween event.

I did the Lycan quest. I accepted the licorice and rock candy quests but I don't know how to turn the candies in now...Trying to figure out and way and I have ended up accidentally eating some lol.

Candy has 3 purposes. You can keep it as decoration, eat it or turn it in to witches for certain quests.

If you wish to turn it in for a quest, you need to click yourself once and in the pull down menu select the 'toggle quest item' option. Select the candy and once you have reached the amount necessary, go back to the quest giver and double click them to complete the quest

Double click them to start a quest (Not all have quests. Only the ones with quest giver in their names).

Halloween Event Updated

Fixed a few quests that were not yet active. These quests have now been released.

Check around Wormwood as there may be new things that weren't there before.

Quest monsters will no longer spawn as supremes. This is to prevent the spawn areas from becoming too difficult for those wishing to complete the kill quests. For those seeking a challenge, there are other elements that have been incorporated into this year's Halloween event.

Deranged Witch (Boss 1 of 5)

The Deranged Witch boss is now active at one of the haunted houses. You will need the key to enter the haunted house to fight her. You will need to figure out how you can get your hands on the key.

Awwww you have taken the supremes out....thats a shame...
They arent that tough once you work it out.....
But i suppose the candy hunters that run through the woods like headless chickens are asking for trouble....
Shame...
I killed 2 of them and the last one gave an insane amount of gold lol.....

No, there are other quests which reward candy.

There are currently 2 different ones that will reward you candy (There are about 7 different ones in total, they are added in periodically). The new one was added in yesterday.

Each quest giver that rewards a bag of candy for completing their task will have a unique bag of candy with 2 different types inside.

Halloween Event Updated

Fixed the drops to use the giveitem function which better handles scenarios that may result in items being lost (No corpse, full pack/bank etc etc). Just an added later of security. This also fixed some crash potential with some scripts.

Added some new quests for different candy bags as well as the start of the frog finding quest.

Pumpkin King (Boss 2 of 5)

The Pumpkin King boss is now active at one of the haunted houses. Obtaining the key is pretty straightforward. There's also a hint scroll that can help make the battle a smoother ride. It will also give you a useful tip.

Grunilda's Toadstool Collection

For those who have been fighting the deranged witch, you are probably wondering what those toadstools were for. Head to Grunilda's house to find out. Grunilda's looking to redecorate her place so you can help her out while you trade with her.

Started adding stuff to the first post to outline some things for the ongoing Halloween event as there is a lot there.

The Halloween event has been extended to the end of November and will incorporate the continuation of the thanksgiving turkeys within the same area.

Halloween Event Updated

Fixed a few scripts and the event map itself to reflect storyline changes.

Fixed a mathematical error and condition statement block in the pumpkin king script which incorrectly affected the spawn and absorption of the wisps.

Pumpkin King wisps will no longer flee in battle and now move quicker.

The boss rewards list has been modified for all bosses to give a higher chance to reward the other items aside from toadstools.

The first post of this thread will now show you the possible drops from each of the bosses. It is arranged from most common to most rare.

Herpekitus the Plant Monster (Boss 3 of 5)

Herpekitus is now spawned as a boss. Those who have been keeping up with the storyline will know all about this beast. This boss will require some thought and may surprise you at different points during the battle. A hint scroll is available to give you a very useful hint as well as a bonus in battle.

Halloween Event Updated

The event is now drawing to a close. The final 2 bosses and remaining areas of Wormwood will be opening up soon. There is a quest which will provide you access to the Land of Mist. This area is unlike any other area seen so far.

The final area will be revealed in the storyline shortly.

Sorceress of the Night (Boss 4 of 5)

The Sorceress of the Night is now available to battle. Getting to her area will require some thought. You will want to check around with all the quest npcs and spirits to figure out how to do so.

The boss itself has some interesting abilities. She will stop at nothing to drain you till you have been weakened, then move in for the kill.

Malevolent the Reaper (Boss 5 of 5)

Malevolent the Reaper is now available to battle. You must show masterful qualities in killing the other bosses in order to obtain the key from the quest.

Malevolent requires careful fighting. This is not your regular hack and slash battle, you must master your skills in dodging and strategy. You must keep on your toes during this battle.

A hint scroll is available to help you during the battle and to give you a large hint to help you succeed.
