And regarding Vesper museum, if I select an item is there any confirmation, do I get to see exactly what it is I'm selecting, like the stats etc, or do I just get it if I click that blue dot?

As for the stats on the armor pieces and weapons, you should take a look at UOGuide for now

It may be possible to work the stats in through the confirmation selection gump but that will take some time.
Keep in mind that this is a trial run for the collection system as there are many more changes we will be doing to its usability and item lists. These changes will happen periodically over time during an update patch.
