To Whom It May Concern
I have taken it upon myself to warn you all of the demise of the Kingdom of Maggie. Maggie was once a noble King, who ruled a small part of Malas, many moons ago he sat tall over-looking the land, perched upon his throne atop his castle.
I went out for a stroll this morning in said kingdom and heard a distant rumbling. At first I was concerned, it has been many years since earthquakes have rocked Sosoria. And the thought that recent troubles had disturbed the ancient earth Gods is not a happy one.
However, you'll be pleased to be informed that this was not the case. But something still quite serious. As I headed towards the source of the disturbance I could make out a large castle in the distance. The sky above was gradually becoming more and more over-cast as I trudged on. Rain started to fall, lightening lit up the sky. Storms were blowing in from the sea.
Ever more closer to the distant castle I could see, as any good craftsman such as myself would, that the towering walls were starting to crumble. As I got to the foot of the moat the sky lit up once more with the clash of thunder, as a streak of brilliant white lightening shot from the sky and struck the flagpole atop the tallest tower. It splintered into a million pieces, the remains crashing down into the moat.
A large piece of stone from the battlements followed, as the winds ripped through the once magnificent castle. I remember this from when I was but a child. There used to be a banquet here every spring, jesters would gallivant up and down the main hall, as nobles and peasants alike gorged their appetites with roasted meat from the 4 continents and wine from the mountains.
Then a large section of the outer wall fell. It was clear by now that by sunset there would be nothing but a pile of rubble. The winds still raced relentlessly. One of the upper tiers collapsed with a rumbling and smashing of stone. The whole building was creaking and groaning by now.
One by one the stone battlements descended into the moat. The towers still standing were swaying with the gales that ripped round them. The wind tore at the roofs, when a large piece of timber was cut loose and flew towards me, carried by the roaring wind. It struck me clean on thy temple. Sending me to my knees.....it all went black.
The next thing I remember is a pain in my shin, as I opened my eyes I could make out a hazed outline of a black figure bending over me. Then there was a growl, a deep and throaty growl sending a chill down my spine. It was then I realised that the figure was actually a wild wolf that was after it's next meal. It looked at me with it's left eye, the other was white over, with a scar running through and continuing down it's cheek.
I jumped to my feet just as a bolt of lightening struck not 10 yards from where I lay. The wolf stood dazed by the light, taking this as a sign of life from the Gods, I screamed "KAL VAS FLAM" only to see the beast turn and run.
I looked around, my vision slowly coming back to me. All I could see before my was a mountain of stone. But wait, there's something shiney in the rubble.................
That's all I got from the message, the rest went into a lunatic scribble that was barely readable. And the last part resembled something that was more like a shopping list. This worries me a little. If anyone stumbles upon Jack of Trades, please stop to ask if he is ok.
