Hello, our shard http://www.uogateway.com/shard.php?id=65&act=view has been shown as offline on uogateway for the last day or so. The shard has been up continuously for 9 days with no reboots.
The likely trigger for this is that about 24 hours ago, the DNS entry for the server was moved or reset, i don't know which because i didn't do it and was surprised that it happened. But the UO server has not changed names or ip addresses, and no players have lost connectivity. What can i do to get uogateway to show that we're online?

From the UOG server I am getting 184.172.165.29 when I resolve the host name. Is that the old IP? Could be it has not fully propagated yet, but hopefully it happens soon.
If you give me the new IP I can probably make a host entry on the server as a temp measure, or you can set the IP directly in your account.

The correct ip is 69.65.41.46, and that's what it's been for over a year. The ip you gave doesn't ring a bell, but it appears to be part of the data center that hosts our web site but not the game server.
I'll go ahead and put the ip directly in the account for now as our uptime percentage displayed on uogateway has dropped quite a bit already due to this. I don't know much about DNS but it appears that your poller is getting false information somehow. Anyway, thanks for looking into this.
