Pet speeds

Please make them keep up with us :(

On a lot of other free shards, the "come" and "follow" commands are different, where "come" makes your pet able to run at mounted speed and follow simply makes it follow you.

Pet speeds

I've thought of that, but imo it would make things too easy. I do want to speed up certain pets slightly as the speed code is really weird to work with, but making them keep up at mounted speeds would be too much. Maybe we could have certain pets that can do it (like horses and other mounts) but not all.

The pet speed thing was hidden and was driving me up the wall, but I finally found it! (Was an issue with coeurls vs predator hell cats. Apparently the speed controller was in a different script, go figure).

As pets keep their speed and somewhat cling to their owners on OSI (Not as much as a familiar would), we can add that in. It's not an issue to have pets keep up with their owners when they need to go places. It would only become a problem if they are tethered to something they are attacking, such as another player.
