Who needs mortar? Duct tape will hold anything together, even a house. Get-R-Done and start on those home renovations. Duct tape is all you need.

Actually, that's just to keep the bugs out, and I'm taking the chance by using it as a cement form for when I pour cement from outside. It *should* hold, but think I'll buy some plywood just to be on the safe side.

By leaving it for a few days enough spider bodies will accumulate on the tape from outside, making it stronger.

Well to give an idea this is how it looked in that crawlspace before.

Actually it's not as bad as you'd think. So far I did not find any nest, just lot of adult spiders, including this one black spider that was overweight, it was kinda funny seeing it bounce around trying to run.

What is more freaky is the fact that I can now go in there, as I'm in there I'm thinking "it used to be filled with huge cob webs RIGHT where I'm at now". Makes me look around twice to make sure I did a good job. :P

Holy crap, and I thought this was bad.

I killed a few of these so far, one in the bath (that pic), two next to electrical panel, one in the spider web crawlspace and one inside broken bricks (where duct tape is, but outside). The one in the bricks was the biggest one so far. 3 kicks against the wall to kill it, then squished it with a putty knife and put cement over it.
