Red, when coding the properties, is it possible to put a stop to this sort of stupidity?

I've had 100% fire damage, fire elemental slayer weapons and other such silliness. While nice to have as a display item, that is their only worth.

While technically it IS possible to add exceptions to pairing, we would need to make sure the weapon or armor exception is entirely useless. I, for one, would be in favor of adding that kind of thing in as it adds a bit of realism that certain mismatching properties should not exist.

Have to remember, not every single loot has to be supper epic good. If it worked that way, then you'd only need to ever kill one mob in the entire game and never have to worry about looting again. There needs to be randomness to the system and sometimes really crappy stuff needs to enter the mix.

It's kind of like a casino. You wont ALWAYS win, sometimes you'll loose.

Actually, now that I think about it, the gargoyle race ability will make use of items such as that.

The racial ability known as "imbuing" will allow you to pluck properties from one item and pass them onto another.

hmmmm tasty imbuing. I still think that arachnid slayer is not so deadly. Anyways. I am in the market for a deamon and undead weapon of any kind. and a luna house
